Four savage ground-level battles across eras slam viewers into mud, steel, and screams with zero escape from combat's raw sensory hell.
Synopsis
Seedance mini 2.0 drops audiences into four unfiltered combat nightmares rendered at boot level. A WWI trench buckles under artillery rain with shrapnel slicing through confined panic; medieval soldiers ram a gate under arrow storms and blade slashes; an ancient galley erupts in ramming splinters and boarding frenzy; cavalry hooves thunder toward infantry locked in deafening approach. Each sequence weaponizes physical immediacy over plot, proving the system's power to sustain era-precise brutality. Soldiers become pure vessels of reaction: lungs choked with mud, ears ringing from steel on bone, eyes flooded by incoming death. The film cross-cuts the four without connective tissue, forcing the audience to absorb pure kinetic violence from every angle and era. The result is a cinematic endurance test that redefines war cinema by erasing distance between viewer and battlefield.
The story
An ordinary soldier in each era is introduced in the final seconds before impact, establishing the confined ground perspective and immediate sensory details of their respective battlefields.
The four sequences erupt simultaneously in cross-cut chaos, escalating from artillery barrages and arrow storms to galley boarding and cavalry charges that overwhelm every sense with unrelenting physical assault.
The sequences peak in total sensory overload then subside into stunned silence, leaving only the ringing aftermath and the realization that survival itself is the sole victory.

INT. WWI TRENCH - NIGHT Mud walls tremble. PRIVATE THOMAS HALE, 22, presses his face into wet earth as shells whistle overhead. Shrapnel whistles past his ear. Nearby, a SOLDIER screams as his leg vanishes in a spray of red. HALE (whispering) Not today. Not today. Another blast. Dirt rains down. Hale crawls forward, fingers sinking into the muck. He passes a dying man clutching a photo. The trench narrows. A mortar lands three feet away. The world goes white. CUT TO: EXT. MEDIEVAL GATE - DAY Arrows rain. SIR ALDRIC VOSS leads ten men with a ram. Blades clash. Blood sprays across stone. Voss takes an arrow to the shoulder but keeps swinging his sword, each impact a sickening crunch. VOSS (roaring) Hold the line!
