Synopsis
In neon-drenched Tokyo, the jolly Budai materializes as a wandering street performer whose belly-shaking laugh mysteriously disarms gang violence. Ares crashes through the sky in flaming armor, summoning spectral legions that turn subways into battlefields and force world leaders into bloodlust. Budai recruits a cynical hacker and a fallen monk, turning viral memes and street festivals into weapons that erode Ares' rage-fueled army. The final siege erupts atop Mount Fuji as Ares manifests a colossal war machine powered by global fear. Budai counters with an army of laughing civilians whose collective mirth shatters divine armor. In the climax, Budai absorbs Ares' fury into his endless belly, transforming the war god into a harmless toddler who finally learns to smile.
