Synopsis
A young woman awakens alone beneath a cotton-candy sky in the Pink Desert, a realm where time folds like origami and every horizon shimmers with her own reflection. Gentle winds carry fragments of laughter, arguments, and lullabies from lives she has lived and abandoned. As she wanders, the desert answers with living echoes—versions of herself at different ages—who challenge her to listen, forgive, and choose who she will become. Her journey spirals through crystalline dunes that replay childhood heartbreaks and adult regrets, forcing her to relive moments she buried. Each encounter strips away another layer of armor until she stands naked before the final echo: the fearless child she once was. Together they unearth the buried pink rose that holds the key to her return. When the desert begins to fade, she must decide whether to carry her echoes forward or leave them behind, stepping through a doorway of light that may lead back to a world ready to receive her changed heart.
The story
A mute girl materializes in the infinite pink dunes. She discovers the first echo, her six-year-old self, who silently leads her toward a horizon that pulses like a heartbeat.
Successive echoes—teenage rebel, grieving lover, exhausted dreamer—force her to relive buried pain. The desert grows violent, threatening to swallow her unless she integrates each fragment.
She unites with her child echo, unearths the living rose of her true name, and walks through dissolving dunes into a sunrise that matches her reclaimed color, returning changed to the world.

EXT. PINK DESERT - DAWN A sea of rose quartz sand rolls beneath a cotton-candy sky. Wind sighs like a lullaby. HANA (20s), barefoot in a white slip dress, lies half-buried. Her eyes open. She sits up slowly, sand cascading from her hair. No sound escapes her lips. A SMALL CHILD (6), identical face, pink ribbon in hair, stands ten feet away holding a single glowing rose. The child waves once, turns, and walks. Hana rises, follows. Each footprint she leaves blooms briefly then fades. CHILD (softly, without turning) You forgot how to say your name. Hana stops. The desert answers with a thousand distant whispers repeating the same forgotten syllables. She reaches out; the child and rose dissolve into drifting petals.
