Synopsis
In the gleaming vertical sprawl of New Dominion, every street, home, and glance is recorded by the omnipresent Gaze, an AI network owned by the monolithic Dominion Corporation that sells personalized lives as entertainment. When low-level data clerk Elias Vane begins receiving impossible phone calls from his own future self, he discovers his mundane existence is the highest-rated stream on the planet and that executives are now demanding a tragic ending to boost ratings. As Elias races to expose the system before the live finale, he must decide whether to break the fourth wall and confront the billions watching or become the ultimate martyr for their amusement.
The story
Elias leads a monitored, unremarkable life until glitches reveal he's the star of Dominion's top feed; he meets underground hacker Mira who shows him the control room.
Elias and Mira infiltrate the Gaze core, exposing how executives rewrite citizens' realities for clicks while the world watches his rebellion in real time, forcing brutal choices and betrayals.
Elias hijacks the broadcast for one final unscripted act of defiance, shattering the illusion for viewers and leaving the fate of the Gaze hanging on whether the audience chooses to look away.
