Synopsis

Wild Desert 76 is a sun-blasted wasteland where chrome war-rigs roar across endless dunes and the only law is what your ride can outrun. Dusty Chagwood, a stoic bounty hunter, collects heads from the safety of his fortified Sand Viper, haunted by bedtime stories of his grandfather who once rode dragons through these same skies a century ago. No one has seen a dragon since, until a rival crew unearths an egg that begins to crack. When the egg hatches and the first dragon call echoes across the dunes, Dusty's rule is tested as rival factions converge to weaponize the creature. He must decide whether to stay locked inside his rig or step out and claim the birthright that could either tame the new world or end it. Alliances fracture, rigs explode, and the desert itself seems to awaken as Dusty races toward the legendary Dragon Cradle, where the final choice between myth and machine will be made.

EXT. WILD DESERT 76 - DAWN

A chrome-plated Sand Viper tears across red dunes, kicking up dust devils. Inside, DUSTY CHAGWOOD (30s, scarred, silent) stares at a flickering bounty holo: a wanted man on a speeding rig ahead.

DUSTY
(quietly)
Never get out.

He taps a console. Twin harpoons launch, snag the target rig's axle, and yank it sideways. The vehicle flips in slow motion. Dusty stops, extends a mechanical claw, retrieves the head, and retracts without opening his door.

A low, impossible ROAR echoes from the horizon. Dusty's eyes narrow. The holo glitches to show an ancient dragon symbol.

DUSTY
Grandpa...
