Fearless investigative reporter April Kane dives into Hong Kong's neon underworld, teaming with a haunted hitman for explosive gun-fu vengeance against a triad empire.
Synopsis
April Kane, a sharp-witted American journalist embedded in Hong Kong, witnesses a brutal triad assassination that leaves her the sole witness and target. She crosses paths with Wei, a guilt-ridden former assassin haunted by his past, and together they unravel a conspiracy reaching the city's elite. Their alliance ignites a ballet of bullets, motorcycle chases, and skyscraper showdowns where every dove's flight signals impending chaos. As triads close in, April's investigative instincts clash with Wei's lethal code, forcing moral reckonings amid double-crosses and fiery set pieces. Betrayed by her own network, she must embrace the city's shadows to survive. The film pulses with Woo-inspired slow-mo carnage and irreverent humor, culminating in a rain-soaked finale that redefines loyalty. No sacred doves were harmed, but plenty of bad guys meet cinematic justice.
