When a down-on-his-luck journalist discovers his life has been orchestrated by a single anonymous viral tweet, he must hunt the author before the next post erases him forever.
Synopsis
In a world where one tweet can rewrite reality, burned-out tabloid reporter Dex Harlan wakes to find his obituary already posted and trending. As he races through a collapsing city of altered memories and fake footage, he realizes every major event in his life was scripted by @7etsuo, the unseen puppet master whose 280 characters dictate fates. Dex teams with a rogue fact-checker and a former influencer whose face was stolen by deepfakes to trace the account to a reclusive coder living off-grid. But each new post tightens the noose, replacing Dex’s past with viral fiction and turning his allies into trending villains. In the final showdown, Dex must choose whether to kill the tweet or become its author, confronting how much of his own story he ever truly owned.
The story

Teaming with a discredited influencer and a paranoid archivist, Dex traces the account through fabricated scandals and memory-altering posts, discovering his childhood, career, and relationships were engineered for engagement.
Cornered atop a broadcast tower, Dex confronts the reclusive poster, seizes control of the account, and must decide whether to delete the final tweet that would erase him or post one that rewrites the world’s feed.

INT. DEX'S APARTMENT - NIGHT A single laptop glows in the dark. DEX HARLAN, 38, unshaven, stares at his own obituary on screen. The byline reads @7etsuo. DEX (whispering) I’m not dead. He refreshes. The post count jumps to 2.4M. His phone buzzes with condolences from contacts he hasn’t spoken to in years. Suddenly, a news alert: “Dex Harlan, disgraced reporter, dies in apparent suicide.” A video attachment auto-plays—grainy footage of Dex stepping off a roof. DEX That’s not me. That’s not— His reflection in the laptop screen glitches, replaced for one frame by the falling body. The front door rattles. Footsteps approach. DEX (to screen) Who the hell are you?
