Synopsis
Hime, a 24-year-old ballet dancer whose weak heart has stolen every dream, lies in a sterile Tokyo hospital awaiting a miracle. When the heart of enigmatic composer Ren arrives, she awakens not only breathing but haunted by vivid flashes of his rainy-night affair with a vanished violinist named Aiko. As fragments of Ren's music pour from her fingers and his longing rewires her own desires, Hime must decide whether to surrender to a borrowed life or hunt for the woman who holds the final note. Her search pulls her from neon alleys to mountain shrines, aided by a skeptical surgeon who sees science unraveling and a street musician who recognizes Ren's stolen melodies. Time tightens as her new heart begins to reject the ghost inside it, forcing a choice between letting go or living a love that could kill her twice. In the rain-slick finale, Hime stands before the woman who abandoned Ren, offering the symphony they never completed and the heart that still beats for both of them.
The story
Hime waits in the hospital, dreams of dancing slipping away as monitors flatline. A perfect match arrives from a donor who died in a motorcycle crash. Post-surgery, she hears piano notes no one else can.
Memories of Ren's tragic romance with Aiko consume Hime, sending her across Japan to piece together his unfinished symphony and locate the lost violinist. Rejection episodes blur past and present while doctors demand she forget the intruder inside her chest.
Confronting Aiko on a storm-lashed cliff, Hime plays the completed symphony, granting Ren peace and freeing her own heart to choose life. She walks away toward a new stage, carrying both loves forward.
