Synopsis
In a rain-slicked city of the living and the long-dead, Vinny "Bones" Malone wakes in a pine box wearing his signature fedora and pinstripe. With nothing but a .45 and a grudge, he storms back into the underworld he built, where his former lieutenants now answer to a flashy new boss who stole his throne while Vinny was six feet under. Alliances fracture as Vinny recruits a ragtag crew of ghosts, street rats, and one very alive mortician who can see him. Chases through subways, speakeasies, and graveyards turn personal when Vinny learns his own son pulled the trigger. Every bullet brings him closer to final dissolution, forcing the dead don to choose between eternal vengeance and a chance to save what’s left of his family name. The climax erupts in a neon-drenched cemetery showdown where Vinny must outwit both the living and the reaper itself, proving that even bones can have heart.
The story
