Synopsis
In the flickering ruins of a condemned 1980s arcade, washed-up champion Max Torres discovers the machines have fused into a living labyrinth. Spectral ghosts hunt survivors through glowing corridors while a colossal jawed entity called PAC-MANDIBLE hungers for human essence. Max teams with hacker Lena Voss and skeptic tech reporter Kai to collect scattered power cores that can weaken the monster, but every level strips away their memories and sanity. As the maze warps into their personal traumas, alliances fracture and ghosts manifest as digital doppelgangers of lost loved ones. Max must confront the reckless night he caused a fatal arcade fire, using the very game that ruined him as a weapon. The final confrontation erupts inside PAC-MANDIBLE’s glowing maw where reality and pixels collide.
The story
Max is lured back to the shuttered arcade by viral high-score signals, reactivating the machines and trapping him with Lena and Kai inside an expanding neon maze patrolled by flickering ghosts.
