Synopsis
When NBA star Jax Malone flatlines on the court, he arrives in the Afterlife Arena: an endless, gravity-defying basketball coliseum where timeouts don't exist and every missed layup dooms another soul to the void. Surreal fans chant from floating bleachers made of clouds and regrets while deceased legends like a trash-talking Harriet Tubman point guard and a zen monk center demand he suit up. Jax must confront his selfish past, assemble a ragtag team of misfit spirits, and sink the celestial buzzer-beater that could finally call game and grant everyone peace. As the match stretches across decades, Jax forges bonds that heal old wounds and learns the arena feeds on unresolved earthly regrets. Opposing forces manifest as shadow defenders born from his failures, turning dunks into psychological warfare. With the cosmic scoreboard ticking toward oblivion, Jax's final play becomes a love letter to second chances.
