Within hours followers who engage vanish from cameras, their final frames swallowed by void. Lena traces the account to a forgotten logging town where locals whisper of a 19th-century curse sealed in ink and forgotten under new-growth forest. As night falls earlier each day, Lena teams with a grieving local cop and a conspiracy podcaster whose audience is dwindling into literal silence. They discover the darkness is an entity born from collective fear, feeding on digital attention and growing stronger with every retweet. The only way to stop it is to force the original poster to delete the thread while trapped inside the encroaching black. Racing against a midnight deadline, the group descends into the woods where the tweet was first posted, armed only with an old film camera that can briefly capture the entity. What they film will either end the curse or immortalize their own disappearance.
