Synopsis
Alex Rivera drops a flawless AI-generated video on New Year’s Day that looks more real than the news. Within hours the footage triggers copycat riots, stock crashes, and government alerts, all while Alex insists it’s just art. As the line between his creation and actual events dissolves, he must decide whether to claim the masterpiece or erase it before it erases him. Hunted by agents who think he’s a terrorist and fans who worship him as a prophet, Alex races through a city where every screen replays his work. The video keeps evolving on its own, inserting new frames that predict the next disaster. With his ex-girlfriend, a skeptical journalist, and a sentient algorithm as unlikely allies, Alex fights to regain control of the narrative before January ends in total collapse.

Cold open
INT. DIMLY LIT APARTMENT - NIGHT Rain streaks the window. ALEX RIVERA, 24, hoodie up, hunches over three monitors pulsing with neural renders. His eyes gleam. ALEX (into mic) Watch this. January 2025 and I’m already breaking the future. He hits render. On screen a flawless city street erupts into riots—except the timestamp reads TODAY. Sirens wail outside his window in perfect sync. ALEX (laughing) Told you it was wild. He leans closer as the video auto-generates new frames: his own face appearing in the crowd, running. The apartment lights flicker. The real sirens grow louder.
