Synopsis
Dr. Lena Voss discovers a buried goddess cult in the Amazon and triggers a ritual that fuses her body with the forgotten deity known as the Dark Goddess. As her humanity erodes, Lena must navigate murderous followers, skeptical authorities, and her own growing hunger for blood and worship. The film builds to an apocalyptic choice between suppressing the goddess or letting her rewrite civilization in fire and shadow.
The story

Cold open
INT. AMAZONIAN JUNGLE RUINS - NIGHT Rain hammers ancient stone. LENA VOSS, 32, mud-streaked and flashlight in hand, descends cracked steps into a vine-choked chamber. Murals depict a crowned woman devouring stars. Lena brushes dirt from a black obsidian idol; her fingers bleed on contact. The idol pulses. Her eyes flash silver. A low female whisper echoes: "At last." Lena staggers, veins darkening. She whispers back, voice layered: "I hear you." Thunder cracks. The idol cracks open, releasing black smoke that coils around Lena like a lover. She smiles, terrified and thrilled.
