A disgraced neuroscientist races to decode a single viral tweet that is erasing the memories of everyone who reads it before it deletes reality itself.
Synopsis
Dr. Lena Voss discovers her late mentor's final experiment leaking into the world via an anonymous tweet that triggers sudden amnesia in readers. As the tweet goes mega-viral, cities descend into chaos and Lena realizes the message is a self-replicating neural virus designed to purge collective trauma from humanity. Hunted by government agents who want the code weaponized and by followers who worship the forgetting, Lena must decide whether to kill the tweet or let the world forget its pain.
The story
Lena, isolated in a university lab, stumbles on the tweet and watches her colleagues forget their names; she traces it to her mentor's hidden research and goes on the run.
Pursued across a memory-fractured country, Lena allies with a hacker who has partial immunity, uncovers the tweet's creator, and realizes the virus is evolving to erase her too.
In a final broadcast, Lena chooses to merge her own memories with the code, halting the spread but leaving the world with fragments of her life as the only remaining history.

Cold open
INT. UCLA NEURO LAB - NIGHT Rain streaks the windows. DR. LENA VOSS, 38, alone under harsh fluorescents, scrolls her phone. A single tweet glows: "What if you could forget the worst day of your life?" She smirks, taps it. Her screen glitches. In the hallway, a COLLEAGUE drops his coffee, stares blankly at his own hands. LENA Professor? You okay? He looks through her, terrified. COLLEAGUE I... I don't know who I am.
Why now
In an age of algorithmic overload and collective trauma, audiences crave stories about the dangerous allure of forgetting while fearing the loss of shared truth more than ever.
