Synopsis
Mia Reyes clocks endless shifts at LAX until a glowing tomato the size of a suitcase rolls off a mysterious crate and sprouts rocket fins. One impulsive leap and the Tomato Rocket ignites, rocketing her above the clouds into a world where ordinary objects have liftoff. Airports, lovers, and a shady produce conglomerate all give chase as Mia learns the rocket feeds on forgotten dreams. In three breathless days she outruns fighter jets, dances through auroras, and confronts the quiet grief she’s carried since her sister’s death, discovering that the sky isn’t an escape—it’s a mirror.
The story
Mia’s monotonous airport routine is shattered when a crate labeled TOMATO ROCKET! bursts open; she climbs aboard and the fruit ignites, launching her into the stratosphere.
Corporate agents, fighter pilots, and a charming drone engineer pursue her as the rocket reveals it’s dying unless Mia feeds it the one dream she’s buried; aerial dogfights and emotional reckonings ensue.
Mia chooses to share the rocket’s power rather than hoard it, saves the fruit from destruction, and lands transformed, ready to live the life she once only watched from the terminal window.
