Synopsis

Eleanor Whitmore hosts flawless dinner parties where every guest feels cherished—right until they don't wake up. By day she writes thank-you notes in perfect calligraphy; by night she dispatches betrayers with poisoned petits fours and handwritten apologies. When a buried secret from her past resurfaces, her carefully ordered world begins to fracture, forcing her to choose between impeccable manners and messy survival. Her latest target is the powerful producer who ruined her sister's career, but the investigation by a dogged detective with terrible table manners threatens to expose her. As bodies pile up in monogrammed linens, Eleanor must decide if politeness is armor or prison. The final act unfolds at her own meticulously planned wedding, where every place card doubles as a death sentence.

The story

Act I

Eleanor is introduced as the epitome of grace in high society, hosting events that mask her quiet rage. A chance encounter reveals the producer who destroyed her family, igniting her polite but deadly plan. We glimpse the first "accident" that feels like impeccable hospitality gone wrong.

Act II

Eleanor's web tightens as she eliminates accomplices one by one, each murder accompanied by handwritten condolences. The detective closes in while her own composure cracks under pressure from a new love interest who senses something off. A botched kill forces her to improvise with devastating charm.

Act III

At her own wedding, Eleanor confronts the producer and her past in a final dinner where every course is a trap. She chooses mercy for one unlikely ally, allowing her arrest on her own refined terms. The last shot is her cell, where she arranges silverware with serene satisfaction.

INT. WHITMORE ESTATE - DINING ROOM - NIGHT

Candlelight flickers over crystal and silver. ELEANOR WHITMORE, 32, serene in vintage Dior, circles the long table pouring tea.

ELEANOR
(softly)
Do forgive the bergamot—it's dreadfully bold tonight.

Producer VICTOR LANG chuckles, already glassy-eyed. He slumps forward into his soup. Eleanor dabs his mouth with a monogrammed napkin.

ELEANOR (CONT'D)
There we are. Much tidier.

She slips a tiny vial back into her clutch, then rings a silver bell. The lights dim as she smiles at the remaining guests.

ELEANOR (CONT'D)
Shall we move to dessert?
