Synopsis
In sleepy Millbrook, 14-year-old Mia finds Fluffy, a purring ball of cosmic fluff, after a meteor shower. What begins as secret treehouse playdates turns the neighborhood into a wonderland of floating furniture and giggling shadows. Government agents descend, convinced Fluffy is a bioweapon. Mia, her gamer brother, and a skeptical ex-astronaut teacher race across rooftops and abandoned malls to reach an old observatory before Fluffy’s growing powers rip open a portal that could swallow the town. Friendship forces Mia to choose between keeping her new family and saving the world, culminating in a tearful launch that leaves everyone changed.
