Synopsis
Elena Voss, a reclusive portrait artist, discovers a forgotten technique that lets her draft living likenesses. She renders two versions of Hinata: one the shy, lavender-eyed protector from her past, the other a fierce, battle-hardened stranger who challenges every choice Elena ever made. As the drawings step off the paper and into her decaying studio, their conflicting memories begin to overwrite Elena's own. Hinata Prime clings to quiet devotion and wants to shield Elena from the world, while Alternate demands she fight for the life she abandoned. Their rivalry escalates from whispered arguments to shattering physical confrontations that leave bruises on Elena's skin and ink stains on her walls. With reality fraying, Elena must choose which Hinata to keep and which to erase, knowing the decision will decide whether she remains a ghost in her own story or finally steps into color.
The story
Elena discovers the draft technique and births both Hinatas in a fevered all-night session, thrilled then terrified as they breathe and speak. The shy version recognizes her immediately; the fierce one questions why Elena hid her for years.
The two Hinatas clash in Elena's apartment and then bleed into the city, drawing unwanted attention and forcing Elena to hide them while her own memories start glitching between their lives. Betrayals and alliances form as each tries to dominate the sketchbook that controls their existence.
Elena stages a final confrontation in her flooded studio at dawn, burns one set of pages to save the other, and merges the surviving Hinata's strength with her own, stepping into the morning light as a complete woman while the discarded version dissolves into harmless watercolor.

Cold open
INT. ELENA'S LOFT - NIGHT Rain hammers the skylight. Elena, paint-splattered, hunches over a massive sketchbook. Two finished drawings lie side by side. The first Hinata stares upward, shy. The second smirks, scarred. ELENA (whispering) Which one of you is me? Ink ripples. Both figures inhale. The shy Hinata's eyes flick toward Elena. The scarred one cracks her knuckles. HINATA PRIME (soft) You called us. HINATA ALTERNATE (smiling) Now we're calling back. Elena stumbles backward as the paper tears and two women step into the room, lavender eyes glowing in the lamplight.
