Synopsis

In a rain-slick metropolis, Hina drifts like smoke through strangers' lives, her face triggering instant recognition as the wife, lover, or daughter they buried years ago. Each man she touches rewrites his past to fit her presence, abandoning careers, families, and sanity to follow her into shadowed hotel rooms and forgotten alleys. As private detectives and grieving relatives close in, they discover photographs and videos where Hina has always been present, editing herself into their histories with surgical precision.

The story

Act I

Architect Thomas Vale spots Hina on a crowded train and is certain she is his wife who vanished five years earlier; he abandons his new life to pursue her through neon nights and rain-soaked streets.

Act II

Other men surface with identical claims, their proof photos showing Hina already embedded in their timelines; Vale's grip on reality fractures as friends and evidence begin rewriting themselves around her.

Act III

Cornered atop a half-built skyscraper, Vale forces Hina to reveal her true reflection in a shattered mirror, triggering a cascade where every duplicate vanishes and the city forgets her name forever.

Cold open

INT. SUBWAY CAR - NIGHT

Rain streaks the windows. THOMAS VALE (40s, rumpled suit) stares at his phone. A notification: "Elena: Dinner tomorrow?" He deletes it.

Across the aisle, HINA sits perfectly still. Same black coat. Same impossible green eyes. Thomas freezes. She looks exactly like MARIA, his wife, dead five years.

He stands. The train lurches. Hina rises too, gliding toward the doors without glancing back.

THOMAS
Maria?

She steps onto the platform. Thomas follows, pushing through commuters.

EXT. PLATFORM - CONTINUOUS

Hina walks away. Thomas shouts.

THOMAS
Maria, wait!

She stops. Turns. A faint, knowing smile. The lights flicker. When they return, she's gone. Only Thomas's reflection remains in the glass, but the coat is now black.

Why now

Audiences are desperate for stories that weaponize the dread of being misremembered or replaced in an age of endless digital echoes and fractured attention, turning intimate grief into a citywide contagion that feels both timeless and urgently contemporary.
