Synopsis

A skeleton crew films the seventh entry in a long-dead horror franchise using only one-take shots to capture raw terror. But Ms. Yurei, an onryo spirit born from the original film's forgotten actress, materializes on set and methodically sabotages each roll, forcing actors to relive their worst traumas in real time. As the production spirals into chaos, the director realizes the ghost isn't random—she's punishing the industry for erasing her story. The final unbroken sequence becomes a battle between celluloid and the supernatural, with the entire cast trapped inside the camera's unblinking eye.

The story

Act I

The crew arrives at the abandoned studio lot to shoot Part 7 with a strict one-roll policy. Ms. Yurei appears in the first take, freezing the lead actress mid-scream and exposing a hidden affair.

Act II

Paranoia mounts as every reset triggers new hauntings. The director pushes forward, ignoring warnings, while cast members confess sins on camera to appease the ghost, only to deepen her rage.

Act III

In the climactic unbroken finale, the survivors stage the film's ending as a ritual to banish Ms. Yurei, but the camera keeps rolling past the cut, revealing who truly controls the narrative.

A single Arri Alexa rolls in a dusty 1990s horror set. The clapboard snaps. SER A MOON stands center frame, terrified.

SERA
(whispering)
They said you were cut from the script.

Behind her, the shadow of a long-haired woman in a torn wedding dress rises from the floor. The camera never cuts. Ms. Yurei leans into frame, eyes black, lips moving in perfect sync with the slate.

MS. YUREI
(soft, final)
Part seven. No reshoots.

The lens cracks.
