Synopsis
Elena Voss has spent six years painting the same woman from different angles, each canvas promising one more piece of the night her sister vanished. When the final painting is finished, the missing woman steps out of the frame and into Elena's life—yet every person who sees her begins to unravel. As friends and lovers suffer mysterious injuries that mirror the brushstrokes, Elena realizes the series never offered closure; it only redistributed the damage.
The story
Elena finishes Part 6 in her isolated studio, convinced the work will finally reveal the truth. A gallery showing draws old acquaintances who start experiencing blackouts and physical wounds that match the paintings.
The painted woman appears in waking life, guiding Elena through fractured memories while the body count rises. Elena's lover and dealer turn against her, convinced she is the source of the spreading harm.
Elena must destroy the entire series in a ritual fire, accepting that some losses can only be survived, never solved, before the final image consumes her as well.

Cold open

She drags a final brushstroke across the sixth, completing the woman's half-turned face. The lights flicker. In the wet reflection on the floor, the painted woman opens her eyes. ELENA (whispering) Six parts. That's all I promised. She steps back. A thin line of blood trickles from her left ear onto the canvas. The figure smiles.
