Synopsis
In neon-lit Tokyo, 28-year-old Aiko Tanaka keeps her head down at a soulless corporation until her mysterious neighbor Kurogane moves in upstairs. His horns are hidden, his rage contained, but when a yakuza threat forces him to reveal his Oni form, Aiko sees the lonely soul beneath the monster and refuses to look away. Their secret romance ignites in hidden rooftops and abandoned shrines, but the Oni clan demands Kurogane return to the underworld or watch Aiko burn. Aiko must confront her own suppressed rage and cultural expectations while racing to perform the forbidden heart-binding ritual that could free them both. Blending sweeping cherry-blossom nights with visceral demon battles, the story asks what we sacrifice to love what the world calls monstrous.

Cold open
INT. TOKYO METRO - NIGHT Rain streaks the windows of a packed train. AIKO TANAKA (28), exhausted in a rumpled blazer, clutches her briefcase. The lights flicker. Passengers gasp as a HORNED SHADOW flashes across the glass. A massive YAKUZA THUG shoves her, knife flashing. Suddenly a clawed hand slams the thug into the door. KUROGANE (ageless, trench coat hiding ridges) stands over him, eyes glowing ember-red. KUROGANE (whisper, voice like gravel) Run, little accountant. Aiko freezes, heart pounding. Their eyes lock. The train screeches into the station. Kurogane vanishes into the crowd, leaving only a single black scale on the floor. Aiko picks it up. It pulses warm against her palm.
