A disgraced HK-style fighter returns from viral obscurity to master wrist-precision techniques and dismantle a corrupt underground tournament.
Synopsis
In the neon-drenched alleys of contemporary Hong Kong a washed-up tournament champion discovers a grainy video of forbidden open-platform forms. He trains in abandoned courtyards using only clean medium-wide geography and obsessive hand-close-up drills until his body sings with classic cinema lethality. Hunted by gangsters who want the old style buried he stages public duels that draw millions. Each fight unfolds like choreographed ritual: wide frames reveal spatial mastery while tight wrist shots sell every block and counter. When the final arena opens he faces the champion who ruined him and the ghosts of a disappearing martial lineage in one unbroken sequence of breathtaking violence.

Cold open
INT. ABANDONED ROOFTOP DOJO - NIGHT Rain slicks the concrete. KAI LEUNG (40s, lean, haunted) stands center platform in wide frame. He moves through slow wrist isolations; the camera pushes into tight close-ups of tendons and knuckles. A PHONE on a tripod records. From below, street noise fades. KAI (V.O.) They buried the old forms. I dug them up. He snaps into a crisp sequence. Each strike lands with audible precision. The final frame holds on his open palms as the video uploads. CUT TO BLACK.
