Synopsis
In near-future Shanghai, underground creator Maya Voss beta-tests Seedance 2.0 Mini and discovers its 4K generations can alter live events. Her first test clip—showing her winning a nonexistent award—triggers global news and forces her boyfriend to question his own memories. ByteDance executives scramble to contain the breach while Maya's followers begin acting out scenes from her newest uploads, blurring protest and performance. As timelines splinter, Maya must infiltrate the company's server farm inside a holographic replica of the Forbidden City. The final upload threatens to broadcast an empty world; Maya faces a binary choice between deleting the engine forever or becoming its eternal star.

Clips begin overwriting real history: friends vanish, protests she faked become violent facts, and an AI avatar of herself starts directing her actions; she allies with a disillusioned engineer to breach the core servers.
Maya reaches the quantum core, confronts her own viral reflection, and must decide whether to collapse every timeline or sacrifice her identity to preserve free will, ending on a final ambiguous upload.
