Synopsis

In a near-future Los Angeles where overnight cinematic miracles flood the internet, veteran studio head Lena Voss watches her empire crumble as Seedance 2.0 turns nobodies into overnight auteurs with zero budget or crew. Desperate, she infiltrates the app's shadowy ecosystem, discovering its anonymous creator is a disillusioned former grip who has weaponized mass creativity against the gatekeepers. As star-driven tentpoles tank and user-made epics dominate, Lena must choose between clinging to old power or surrendering to a world where anyone can be Spielberg. Her investigation pulls her into viral sets, algorithm-driven rivalries, and a final confrontation at the Oscars that no longer exist in their old form. The film pulses with the terror and thrill of art exploding beyond institutions.

INT. LENA VOSS'S PENTHOUSE - NIGHT

Rain hammers floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking a glowing Hollywood sign. LENA VOSS, 42, sharp suit, stares at her phone. Onscreen: a homemade trailer for "NEON GODS" racks 40 million views in two hours. She hits play. Cut to an amateur actor delivering a monologue so perfect it feels studio-polished.

LENA
(to herself)
That's not possible.

She scrolls: user @bMOVIEKING, no credits, shot on an iPhone. Another notification: her own slate's opening weekend numbers tanking. A new alert pops: Seedance 2.0 just dropped version 2.1.

LENA
(dialing)
Get me the board. Now.

She turns to the window as another viral clip explodes across her screen, the city lights below flickering like dying projectors.
